SCI/ENG/ASTRO LECTURE (off campus):

You may receive credit by attending a talk or lecture on some science or engineering topic. Guest speaker presentations are often arranged by local community organizations, museums, or other schools. Cal Poly and UCSB both offer Colloquium Series in various academic science and engineering departments. If it is not a science department sponsored event, you will need to have your lecture pre-approved by the instructor. A short essay (not less than 500 words in length) outlining the days events and your thoughts about the talk must be submitted to receive credit.
