SEVERE POINT PENALTIES FOR TESTS NOT MADE UP IN TIME:

For those who miss a test and don't make it up in the allotted time, credit can not be given.  The solution keys are out, and it is not fair that some students should get additional time to prepare.  Also, the "Most Missed Test Problems" Extra Credit Quiz will have been given to the class.

To minimize the loss of points, students who miss a test and haven't made it up in the allotted time, should do the following:

1.  Go in to take the make-up test IMMEDIATELY!  Follow the instructions posted on the website for making up tests.  Click here for a direct link.

2.  Since the test is taken late (past the deadline for make-ups), I am unable to count it as a regular test.  However, I will keep this score and refer to it at the end of the semester to help your grade (so that missing this test does not pull your grade down excessively or unreasonably.  On the grade sheet, your grade for the test will be indicated as "1 pt" until the end of the semester.

3.  If you don't follow the above procedure and make the test up right away, a zero will be assigned, and your grade will be severely affected!

WARNING:
Do not miss class after missing a test.  You will need the extra credit points from the "Most Missed Test Problems" extra credit quiz.  Some students miss the following classes so they can say they didn't see any test results.  This is counter productive and will not help you.  The guidelines presented here will be strictly followed.  Please be sure you make the test up in the allotted time frame.  If there are extenuating circumstances, contact me IN ADVANCE!
