STAR PARTIES:
This is a public event, sponsored by the SB Museum of Natural History's Astronomical Unit (the local astronomy club). You may bring friends and family with you to this event. Please note, the event may be canceled due to clouds or rain.  Credit can not be given if the event is canceled.

DATES AND TIME:
Generally after sunses and up to 10 pm, on the second Saturday of each month. You do not need to stay the whole time. Just 20-30 minutes is suffiecient (just long enough to look through all the cool telescopes and see what they are showing you).

Extra Credit for Lecture Classes.
Not for extra credit in Lab Classes (though lab students are encouraged to participate).

COST:  Admission to Star Parties is free.

LECTURE CREDIT = 10 pts (Be sure to sign any extra credit sign in sheets that may be provided)
      (Point breakdown: 5 pts for signing in at the observatory + 5 pts for answering the questions)
