IMPORTANT JPL TRIP INFO!

Bus meets in front of the SBCC bookstore (at EBS Loading Dock).  Meet at 7:45 am.  Bus leaves at 8 am sharp (it's important that you arrive early to get loaded up).  Trip returns at approximately 5-6 pm (depending on traffic).

VERY IMPORTANT:
You must bring a photo ID; non-US citizens must bring Passport and visa or Greencard, as applicable.

Identification: Visitors over 18 must have a current Driver's License or an official photo I.D. issued by a government agency or business/educational entity. Failure to possess the required I.D. may result in denial of entry. It is the requestor's responsibility to inform their guests of this requirement. If the visitor is a permanent resident he or she must present proof of permanent residence by presenting their Alien Registration Card or passport with stamp indicating they applied for permanent residence.

Cameras are allowed and there are no restrictions on picture taking at JPL. You can bring your things in a backpack or whatever, however, JPL Security can ask to search any items.

We will be walking a lot on a hilly campus, so wear comfortable shoes! If it’s a sunny day, you may want a hat, sunglasses, and sun screen.

Lunch will be in the JPL cafeteria which has pretty good food at decent prices. However, feel free to bring your own lunch.

We will stop for a short time at the JPL Store where you can buy space-oriented things. (they take credit cards!).

Any questions, feel free to email:  oconnor@sbcc.edu, or tom.farr@jpl.nasa.gov
