  • ERTH-101 LECTURE:

Grades have been emailed to your Pipeline account.  If you did not receive your grades by email, please check your spam filters and spam filter settings.  If you still are unable to find your emailed grades, email me to let me know so I can resend them.

Cumulative grades are not provided since it is too early in the semester for them to mean anything.  If you missed the syllabus quiz, you may answer the questions posted at the bottom of my syllabus (the "sneak preview") and turn in to me during class next to receive half credit.  Please do not email them to me.  Also, turn in your Kit cards and tutor slips for partial credit if you haven't already turned them in.

Attendance is critically important for your success in this class.  Clicker points are given each day we meet.  You will get half the points even if your answer is wrong (but you must answer).  If you don't answer at all, you get no points.

Our first test is tentatively scheduled for the week after next (Mon 2/22, or Wed 2/24).

I will be giving some extra credit for students who go on the Griffith Trip on Wed 3/10.  Sign up soon to save your spot on the bus.  Signups are on a first come basis with the school cashier.  Here is more info on the trip:

  • Updated grades have been emailed to your Pipeline account.  Test 4 was curved to help you.  Three questions were "freebees".  That means you could have missed three and still gotten 100%.  The high score was 100%.  The highest cumulative score in the class is also 100%.  Great job!!!  Remember that when we take the "Most Missed" test problem quiz, your score can be boosted another 5%.

Please note that extra credit is factored in at the end of the semester.  This means that your cumulative score can be boosted another 5%, and that the high cumulative score is actually 105%.  Remember that all extra credit must be completed and turned in by the end of this month.  Both star parties will then be entered into Moodle.
